I am currently a Master Electrician responsible for overseeing the Electrical work performed within 4 Industrial Facilities (Manufacturing). I just came across the existence of the PART IV of the Canadian Electrical Code or the Objective Based Industrial Electrical Code. This seems like a code book that would be an excellent resource for my environment. Can anyone give me more information about this resource, who it's designed for, and what it's main purpose is. It SEEMS like it is intended for my company exactly as we are constantly growing and changing with technology, installing and removing electrical equipment, etc. It's a LOT more expensive than the standard Code book or else I would have purchased it already.
Any and all information would be appreciated.
